First analysis period
Renting families paying between 35,000 and 130,000 AMD monthly report aggressive demands from landlords. Because they cannot work during the quarantine, they are unable to cover rent. Citizens are pleading for rent subsidies, eviction protections, or the introduction of state-backed rent-to-own social housing programs.
Affected groups
Single mothers, large families, and repatriates living in rented apartments or temporary shelters.
Geography
Concentrated in Yerevan, Gyumri, and Spitak.
